Father, I sit down and remain in your shelter, that place of safety. I make my home under your protection, Almighty God.

And I declare today, this day, You are my refuge and fortress. In You, oh Lord, I will trust and place my confidence.

I believe you will deliver me from the schemes and traps of those who try to stalk, lure and entrap me with evil intent. You will defend, deliver and save me from calamity, mischief, wickedness and perverse things.

Under your protection Lord I find strong, yet comforting protection; Your faithfulness is like a shield that can fully protect me.

Therefore I will not be afraid of the dread that comes at night or those piercing attacks that come by day.

Lord I will not focus on the circumstances around me and be fearful. Since I sit and remain in Your shelter, the calamity around me will not affect me — for my confidence is You. I will see the judgement of those who do evil.

Because You are my dwelling place, I have complete care under You, oh Father. You will command Your angels to guard, protect and preserve me in all my ways — in all the details of my life. I trust in your Devine care.

And because I am joined to You in love, you will deliver me and keep me safe. I honor and respect Your holy name and Your ways.

I know that when I call upon you, You will answer me, be with me through, and rescue me in the midst of trouble. In You I have eternal life and salvation.

Thank you that your covenant love for me endures forever.
