When the righteous prosper, the city rejoices; when the wicked perish, there are shouts of joy.
Through the blessing of the upright a city is exalted, but by the mouth of the wicked it is destroyed. (NIV)
None of us live in isolation. We interact and influence others on a daily basis, whether at home, work, church, school, Instagram, YouTube, or Facebook. We all have influence.

And our words and actions are the vehicles by which we carry out that influence. And vehicles can be used in two major ways…to help (like giving someone a ride to the grocery store), or to hurt (like trying to run them down).
When you live a life that is in right standing with God, you impact others in a positive way. You bring warmth and good cheer to the hearts of others. But if you live daily in a way that is not in accordance with God’s laws, precepts and commands, people can’t wait to see you go. It’s like, “Leave and don’t let the door hit you on your way out.”
So which is it for you? What kind of impact have you had on others? Are they glad to see you? Or are they glad to see you go?
